How we work
Design. Build. Deliver.
Three words, seven steps, one accountable partner. Every PCS project runs the same disciplined path from first site walk to long-term support — which is why our structures go up in weeks, stay compliant for years, and why clients describe working with PCS as easy, quick and stress-free.
The principle
No handoffs. No gaps. No surprises.
Most space projects fail at the interfaces — between designer and engineer, engineer and certifier, supplier and installer.
PCS removes the interfaces. The team that walks your site designs the structure; the team that engineers it prepares the compliance documentation; the team that supplies it installs it. One contract carries the whole scope, so schedule, compliance and cost live in one place — with us, not with you.
The process
Seven steps from concept to handover — and beyond
Site consultation & concept design
We start on your ground: site conditions, access, use case, timeframe. The concept is engineered to suit — span, height, storeys, fit-out and finish.
Engineering & compliance
The structure is engineered to Australian Standards, including AS 1170 wind and structural loading, specified for your climate zone and design life.
Certification & council approval assistance
We prepare the engineering certification and assist with council approval — where a development application is required, you arrange and lodge it, and we supply the documentation, answers and compliance evidence that support it.
Supply & logistics
Components are manufactured to specification off site — European-made and engineered systems recommended first for their build quality and service life — and moved to your site on a sequenced program across Australia and the Asia Pacific.
Installation & project management
Crews assemble on prepared ground in days-to-weeks of controlled works, managed around your live operation, to a fixed scope and schedule.
Maintenance & ongoing support
After handover we stay involved: maintenance checks, guidance and support that keep the structure performing and the certification current.
Removal, storage & relocation
When circumstances change, the same building dismantles, stores and re-erects — extended with new bays or relocated to the next site entirely.
The result
An engineered, council-approved building, operational in weeks, that behaves like an asset instead of an expense.
Common questions
Delivery, answered
How does council approval work for a PCS structure?
We assist throughout. PCS prepares the engineering certification and compliance documentation; where a development application is required, you arrange and lodge it, and we provide the answers council needs and ensure the structure complies. How approvals work →
What does end-to-end delivery include?
All seven steps above: site consultation and concept design; engineering and certification; council approval assistance; supply and logistics; installation and project management; maintenance and support; and removal, storage and relocation when the time comes.
Does PCS support the structure after installation?
Yes. We provide maintenance checks and ongoing support, and manage later changes — expansion with additional bays, reconfiguration, dismantling, storage and re-erection on a new site.
